White Pills and Other Poems

(2019)

Originally self-published in 2019 when he was still in high school, Paulínus’ debut poetry collection explores the depths of a human psyche as it falls in and out of love, descends into torpefying depression, and gradually rediscovers hope in itself. It is witty, cynical, and nihilistic to the bone with a voice that is sometimes vengeful and oftentimes guilt-ridden and self-loathing.

Slightly modified variants of some poems would later reappear in Among Other People, Paulínus’ upcoming second poetry collection.
